Job Title: Maintenance Technician Level II
Location: Rochester, NY
Summary:
We are seeking an entry-level Maintenance Technician Level II to join our manufacturing team and support the maintenance and repair of production equipment. In this role, you will assist with preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and basic repairs to ensure the smooth operation of our facility. Shift:
- Monday – Thursday, 3:15 PM – 1:45 AM
Pay:
- $19.00/hour
Core Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform basic maintenance and repair tasks on machinery, tools, and equipment.
- Assist in preventative maintenance programs to reduce downtime and ensure equipment reliability.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues under supervision.
- Maintain clean and safe work areas, following all safety protocols.
- Use basic hand and power tools to complete repairs and adjustments.
- Support senior maintenance technicians in larger repairs and installations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and equipment performance.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support plant operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1 years of experience in maintenance, repair, or a related field preferred.
- Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
- Experience using hand and power tools in an industrial setting.
- Ability to read and interpret maintenance instructions and manuals.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and develop maintenance skills.
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
- Work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs occasionally.
