Job Title: Maintenance Technician Level I

Summary:
Join our team as a Maintenance Technician Level I, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of our production equipment. This position requires electrical experience, as you'll be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial machinery. You'll work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, performing preventative maintenance and responding to equipment breakdowns to keep operations running smoothly.

Shift:
- Monday – Thursday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay:
- $22.00 per hour
Core Duties & Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on production equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure optimal machine performance.
- Repair and maintain industrial machinery, including motors, conveyors, control panels, and PLC systems.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals to complete repairs effectively.
- Operate and maintain hand and power tools safely.
- Assist with the installation of new equipment and modifications to existing machinery.
- Work closely with production teams to address and resolve equipment concerns.
- Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, repairs, and part replacements.
- Follow all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies to ensure a safe work environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous electrical experience; industrial maintenance experience is preferred.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring, and troubleshooting.
- Experience working with PLC-controlled systems is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
- Familiarity with hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
- Proficiency in using multimeters, hand tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs., and work in a manufacturing environment.
