Nesco Resource is hiring for an Experienced Maintenance Technician for an excellent company!

Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Monday - Friday)

Summary
Directs and coordinates activities of workers engaged in repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment, and in maintenance of buildings, grounds, and utility systems by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Manages one subordinate supervisor who supervises a total of 8-10 employees in the Maintenance department. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Science from a four-year college with 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience in a minimum of two different positions in a manufacturing environment with at least 2 years in each position.
Desired experience: TPM/HPWS/LEAN
Qualifications, Skills, Ability, and Work Environment
Previous supervisory experience required.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of managers or employees of the organization.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet software and Microsoft Word Processing software.
