General Information
- Maintenance Technician
- Youngstown, OH
- $23-$28/hour based on experience
- 8 hour days Monday – Friday
- This is a direct hire opportunity with the company!
Duties/Responsibilities
- Assist operators and employees with setup and operational issues.
- Repair mechanical issues such as replacing stripped bolts, broken belts, motors, gear boxes, bearings, etc.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues in various machinery. (AC/DC motors, 3 phase electric)
- Working with automation and PLC controls on industrial machinery.
- Develop, fabricate, and install various changes to machinery to improve operational performance or correct operational deficiencies.
- Follow preventative maintenance schedules to keep machinery in proper working order.
- Understand and adhere to all department and plant standard operating procedures pertaining to maintenance and safety.
Skills/Qualifications
- 2 or more years’ experience working on industrial equipment.
- Experience with mechanical and electrical repairs.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints.
- Ability to prioritize needs.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Will be subject to pre-employment screening.
