Job Description:
As a Machine Operator you will be responsible for operating and maintaining production machinery that processes, packages, and labels food products. This role is crucial to ensuring the smooth operation of our production lines and meeting our company's high standards for food quality, safety, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate machinery to produce, package, and label food products according to company specifications.
- Monitor equipment performance, adjusting settings to maintain product quality, portion size, and production speed.
- Inspect products for quality control, ensuring they meet established food safety and packaging standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines to minimize downtime.
- Ensure all machines are cleaned and sanitized according to food safety guidelines.
- Document production details, including machine performance, product quality checks, and any issues encountered during the shift.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate with supervisors and fellow operators to ensure production targets and deadlines are met.
