1st shift Industrial Controls Technician - are you ready to take on this challenge

Must be familiar with troubleshooting PLC at the program level and able to perform hands on repairs replacing electrical and mechanical devices. The person should have some mechanical knowledge such as bearings, belts and pulley maintenance
Experience

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Experience with preventive maintenance programs and practices.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Strong understanding of maintenance processes, tools, and best practices.
  • Familiarity with PLC systems and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Basic computer skills to maintain digital records and utilize maintenance management software.
  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facility systems.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Monitor equipment performance and implement corrective actions to optimize efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs and inspections.
  • Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption.
  • Assist in installing new equipment and ensuring proper setup and functionality.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during all maintenance tasks.
