Work Schedule: 6:00am – 2:30pm, M-F, Overtime Required
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for set-up, Client-out, and tack-up of various precision frame weldments and brackets. Ability to weld out frames and components to specified tolerances using engineer drawings and weld symbols, must achieve specified cosmetic finishing welds with angle grinder and sanders. Minimum supervision from the lead welder.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Tig, Mig, Stick, and torch weld sheet, angle and milled steel, aluminum, and stainless steel, including high pressure pneumatic manifolds and machine structural components.
2. Square up and weld various geometries of components.
3. Understand various weld forms symbols on blue prints and understand size of fillet forms.
4. Weld both vertical and horizontal plane geometry.
5. Good understanding of welder set-up techniques.
6. Responsible for complete builds of machines and components.
7. Meets scheduled component build times.
8. Arrived to work, meetings, and other work-related functions on time and as scheduled.
PERIFRIAL DUTIES:
1. Interact with organizational team members and other departments in a professional manner.
2. Assists in formulating departmental strategic plan and goals.
3. Performs other duties as required.
MINIMUM EDUCATION/WORK EXPERIENCE:
1. High school diploma or GED, preferably an apprentice ship or vocational school program.
2. Four years' experience in industrial welding or similar environment.
3. Must supply own tools for daily tasks
4. Demonstrate effective verbal, written, and communication skills
5. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. when required.
6.
