Nesco Resource is currently sourcing for Industrial Sewers to join a leading provider of returnable packaging solutions in Madison Heights, MI. This role is essential in the production of high-quality textile-based dunnage and packaging solutions, helping industries such as automotive and aviation!
Pay Rate: $20-$23/hr
Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Responsibilities:
- Operate industrial sewing machines to fabricate textile-based packaging solutions.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure precision and quality.
- Work with and understand the metric system for measurements and material specifications.
- Assemble and sew materials with high accuracy to meet product specifications.
- Ensure quality standards are met and maintained throughout production.
- Work collaboratively with the team to meet production goals.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an Industrial Sewer or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret prints to ensure accuracy in production.
- Comfortable working with the metric system instead of the imperial system.
- Proficiency in operating industrial sewing machines and other relevant tools.
- Willingness to learn, be trained, and adapt to new techniques and materials.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
