Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced Inspector to ensure the highest quality standards for their products. As an Electronic Assembly Inspector, you will play a critical role in performing thorough inspections, ensuring compliance with quality control procedures, and identifying any deviations or non-conformities. This role requires strong attention to detail, technical expertise, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform visual inspection of Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBA) using magnifiers and microscopes.
  • Conduct detailed visual inspections, measurements, and testing using precision measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, coordinate measuring machines).
  • Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of quality control activities.
  • Identify and report any deviations or non-conformities to appropriate personnel.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues effectively.
  • Verify key specifications, including value, polarity, color codes, marking of BGA (Ball Grid Array), and pin-through-hole parts.
  • Conduct final inspections on finished products to ensure full compliance with customer requirements.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an inspection role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with IPC-A-610 inspection criteria for PCBA's is preferred.
  • Proficient in using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and coordinate measuring machines.
  • In-depth understanding of SMT (Surface Mount Technology) inspection practices and proper PCB handling techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) and safety protocols.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to detect defects or non-conformities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience with AOI (Automated Optical Inspection) is a plus.
