We are looking for CNC machine operators for a local company in the Clearwater area, who are willing to growth along with this manufacturing company.
The CNC machinist position consists in loading raw material into the lathe, start the program, and monitor the machining process, making adjustments as necessary.
A CNC machinist is responsible for setting up, programming, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine to produce precise, machined parts by following blueprints and specifications, often involving tasks like turning, facing, threading, and drilling on cylindrical workpieces, while ensuring quality control through inspections and adjustments as needed.
Requirements:
- Experience with CNC lathe/milling machines is required.
- Technical knowledge: Understanding of CNC programming language, machining principles, and geometric tolerances.
- Mechanical aptitude: Ability to select appropriate cutting tools, workholding fixtures, and material based on the job requirements.
Performing routine cleaning and lubrication.
- Attention to detail: High level of precision and accuracy to meet tight tolerances.
- Problem-solving skills: Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot machine issues
- Basic computer skills: Proficiency in CNC programming software
