Job Title: Quality Inspector

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Inspector in Akron, OH. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of our products by inspecting materials, components, and finished goods. This position is perfect for someone who has an eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality. The position is for 1st shift with a pay rate of $16 per hour.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed visual and mechanical inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products.
- Ensure that products meet or exceed customer specifications and quality standards.
- Identify and document defects, non-conformities, and potential improvements.
- Record inspection results and maintain accurate reports of inspections.
- Work closely with production teams to ensure quality standards are met and communicate any issues or concerns.
- Perform basic troubleshooting of products to identify root causes of defects.
- Follow all safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Conduct routine checks on equipment and tools used in the inspection process.
- Assist in conducting audits and internal quality checks.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in quality inspection or manufacturing is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or inconsistencies.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and product specifications.
- Basic computer skills (data entry, report generation).
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs as required for inspections.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
