- Wiring Supervisor
- Bedford, OH
- $25-$30/hour based on experience
- 1 st shift 7am-330pm, Monday – Friday
- Direct Hire or Contract to Hire opportunity
Duties/Responsibilities
- Be hands on with leading a team of wiring technicians with controls wiring.
- Train and qualify employees to perform successfully in the department.
- Audit the work of the department and implement corrective action when necessary.
- Manage resources to achieve a high on time delivery performance rate.
- Ordering necessary electrical materials and components as well as ensuring proper inventory control.
- Enforcing safety regulations and addressing safety concerns.
- Maintaining detailed records and reports related to the wiring department.
- Provide proper leadership and motivation to the team.
- Analyze complex wiring issues and device solutions.
- Clearly communicate with leadership, coworkers, associates, and customers.
- 5 years' experience performing wiring in a manufacturing or commercial setting.
- Previous Supervisory experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Understanding of electrical theory, wiring methods, and troubleshooting techniques.
- High level of accuracy and precision when working with wiring boards.
- Experienced with comprehending wiring diagrams and schematics.
- Hands on experience with controls wiring.
- Have a continuous improvement mentality.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Will be subject to pre-employment drug and background screening.
