Quality Inspection Technician
Hourly Range: $24.00-28.00
Description: Experienced level inspector/cleaner
Optical Coating Inspector.
Ability to handle optics/glass
Ability to clean optics/glass
- Handling and Storage: Safely handle and store raw materials, including optical glass blanks, lenses, and other optical elements.
- Inspection: Inspect optical glass for defects, ensuring they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Cleaning: Preparing and thoroughly cleaning all materials according to specifications
- Quality Assurance: Verify the accuracy and quality of cut lenses and optical elements using precision instruments.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of production metrics, quality checks, and equipment performance.
- Safety: Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with the production team to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
- Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot minor issues on cutting equipment and perform basic maintenance.
- Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of optical glass materials and their properties.
- Proficiency in quality inspections
- Proficiency in optical cleaning
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with precision instruments and measurement tools.
