Position Summary
Responsible for securing resources efficiently, cost-effectively, and in alignment with quality standards and business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop strategic supplier partnerships to improve quality and reduce costs.
- Negotiate pricing and contract terms to achieve cost savings and quality benchmarks.
- Support new product development (NPD) and cost reduction initiatives (VA/VE).
- Implement sourcing strategies to enhance quality, delivery, and cost efficiency.
- Conduct make-vs-buy analyses and execute RFIs/RFQs.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Brand Management to align sourcing with business objectives.
- Develop and execute commodity strategies to drive value.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred or 5–7 years of sourcing/procurement experience.
- Experience managing domestic and international suppliers.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to multitask, work independently, and contribute to team projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; ERP experience with EPICOR.
- Ability to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally.
