Location: Menands, NY (Not downtown, hassle-free parking!)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (In-person, not remote)
Pay Rate: $25.00 - $26.68 per hour

About the Role:
Are you a detail-oriented, customer-focused professional with a knack for multitasking and problem-solving? Our client, a large, well-regarded employer in medical services, is seeking a Buyer to join its dynamic team in a temporary-to-permanent capacity. As a Buyer, you’ll play a key role in managing the procurement process and ensuring smooth communication between internal teams, suppliers, and end-users. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy keeping everything running like clockwork, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and process purchase orders accurately and efficiently through Electronic Resource Platform (ERP).

  • Monitor and track orders, ensuring timely confirmations and accurate documentation of expected delivery dates.

  • Proactively address order issues, such as allocations, backorders, and discontinuations, by coordinating with suppliers and internal teams.

  • Collaborate closely with Accounts Payable, Data Integrity, and Receiving staff to ensure order accuracy and resolve discrepancies.

  • Provide outstanding customer service to various departments by communicating order status updates, resolving issues, and guiding users through supply chain processes.

  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure efficient procurement and delivery of goods.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in a relevant field and 3-5 years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, or a related area.

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft products and ERP systems.

  • Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize competing demands.
