JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Architect to collaborate on the development and implementation of a comprehensive business architecture framework. This role will involve establishing a baseline of the current business architecture, identifying opportunities for improvement, and aligning processes with strategic goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business analysis, process optimization, and change management.
Key Responsibilities:
Establish Baseline of Current Business Architecture
Define Core Components: Identify and document core business capabilities, processes, and information flows.
Map Business Units (BUs): Create a detailed map of all business units, their functions, and interdependencies.
Assess Current Tools and Systems: Evaluate existing tools and systems, their effectiveness, and alignment with business goals.
Opportunity Identification
Conduct SWOT Analysis: Perform SWOT analysis for each BU to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.
Engage Stakeholders: Involve key stakeholders in workshops to gather insights and identify potential opportunities.
Leverage Data Analytics: Use data analytics to uncover hidden opportunities and trends within the business.
End-to-End Review
Evaluate Metrics and KPIs: Review current metrics and KPIs to ensure they align with business objectives and provide meaningful insights.
Analyze Value Streams: Conduct value stream analysis to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
Benchmarking: Compare performance metrics against industry standards and best practices to identify gaps.
Work Elimination
Identify Process Waste: Use Lean methodologies to identify and eliminate process waste (e.g., unnecessary steps, overproduction, waiting times).
Automate Repetitive Tasks: Implement automation tools to reduce manual work and improve efficiency.
Optimize Resource Allocation: Reallocate resources to high-value activities and eliminate non-value-adding tasks.
Target Operating Model
Define Operating Model: Develop a clear operating model that outlines how the organization will function to achieve its strategic goals.
Align Processes and Systems: Ensure that all processes and systems are aligned with the operating model and support the overall strategy.
Change Management: Implement a change management plan to guide employees through the transition and ensure buy-in.
Cost Component
Capture Cost Elements: Identify and document all cost elements from acquiring a client to serving the client.
Analyze Cost Drivers: Analyze key cost drivers and their impact on overall profitability.
Implement Cost Control Measures: Develop and implement cost control measures to optimize spending and improve financial performance.
Integration with *** Go-to-Market Strategy
Align with *** Strategy: Ensure that the framework aligns with ***'s go-to-market strategy, focusing on customer needs, competitive advantages, and market segmentation.
Leverage *** Solutions: Utilize ***'s integrated human capital management solutions to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
Continuous Improvement: Establish a continuous improvement culture to regularly review and refine the framework based on feedback and changing market conditions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in business administration, Management, or a related field.
Proven experience in business architecture, process optimization, and change management.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analytics tools.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Knowledge of Lean methodologies and automation tools.
Familiarity with ***'s solutions and go-to-market strategy is a plus.
