Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Control Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring smooth operations in the warehouse, and providing excellent support in inventory control activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and review packing slips to ensure accurate documentation of incoming shipments.
- Conduct physical inventory counts as needed to ensure the accuracy of stock levels.
- Regularly check inventory levels to identify discrepancies or shortages and take appropriate action.
- Pull and prepare materials for field material requisitions as requested.
- Pull and prepare materials for plant material requisitions in a timely manner.
- Oversee and direct the flow of incoming deliveries, ensuring they are processed correctly and efficiently.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or related field is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move materials as needed (may involve lifting up to 50 lbs).
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment.
