What You'll Do:
- Manage shipments: Verify and keep records of incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy with invoices, manifests, COAs, and BOLs.
- Prepare items for shipment: Assemble, address, stamp, and arrange transportation for products.
- Problem-solve shipping issues: Work with supervisors to resolve damages, shortages, and other shipment concerns.
- Track shipments: Maintain shipping records, trace missing shipments, and update weight and shipment changes.
- Inventory control: Requisition and store shipping materials to keep stock organized.
- Forklift and Operating a Pit
- Handle shipping documentation: Prepare work orders, bills of lading, and shipping orders.
- Coordinate logistics: Arrange carrier pickups and ensure products reach the right departments
- Experience: At least 1 year in shipping & receiving within a manufacturing facility
Tech Savvy: Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) - Experience with SAP and Smartsheet is a plus!
- Equipment Expertise: Must have experience operating PIT Equipment
