Shift & Pay:
- Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- Pay Rate: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
Core Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical issues by observing machines in operation.
- Dismantle and replace defective parts on industrial equipment.
- Perform electrical tasks, including bending conduit, pulling wire, and panel wiring.
- Operate and maintain technical equipment such as lathes, milling machines, and power saws.
- Use precision measuring tools like calipers, dial indicators, bore gauges, and micrometers.
- Follow preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including proper lockout/tagout procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and part replacements.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with gears, bearings, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Basic knowledge of industrial machinery, including motors, conveyors, and power transmission systems.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Strong mathematical skills, including metric and American system conversions.
- Ability to lift and move 30-40 lbs as needed.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
