Work Schedule: 3pm – 1am Monday Through Saturday
*Please note training is conducted on 1st shift only. Training can last between 2 to 4 weeks! Must be able to work the hours below*
Training Schedule: 5 am to 3 pm Monday through Friday, Saturdays 5 am to 1 pm
Job Duties
- Review work orders and prepare materials for cutting operations.
- Operate extrusion saws, ensuring proper settings and adjustments.
- Measure and verify cut lengths using appropriate measuring tools.
- Utilize crane systems to safely move and position materials in racks.
- Stretch extrusions as needed to meet production specifications.
- Perform additional tasks assigned by the department supervisor or manager.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Proper PPE Usage – Safety glasses, steel-toe boots, earplugs, gloves, etc.
- Safety Rules & Best Practices
- Saw operations and control
- Work order processing
- Saw crane operation
- Saw quality check sheet
- Stretching techniques (as needed)
- Use of various measuring tools (e.g., square, tape measure)
- High school diploma, or equivalent
- Ability to read and write in English fluently with proficiency
- Must have basic computer skills.
- Ability to perform various physical tasks including extensive standing, walking, bending, kneeling, squatting throughout duration of shift
- Lifting 50 to 75 pounds with assistance, continuously
- Ability to work in varying extreme temperatures (hot or cold)
