Work Schedule: 11pm to 7am, Monday through Saturday
*Please note training is conducted on 1st shift only. Training can last between 2 to 4 weeks! Must be able to work the hours below*
Training Schedule: 5 am to 3 pm Monday through Friday, Saturdays 5 am to 1 pm
Pay Rate:16/hr
- Transport dies press areas according to schedule and bring back extruded dies for caustic processing/storage
- Use a craning device to hook and relocate dies to various areas
- Lift dies either solo up to 50lbs or with assistance up to 75 lbs.
- Put dies through the caustic solution to clean excess aluminum out of the die
- Inspect and polish dies to ensure they are clean and there are no remaining aluminum remnants left
- Load, start, and monitor the nitrider machine
- Assist in die corrections
- Assemble and break down tooling assemblies
- Utilize various hand tools including hammers and chisels
- Clean work area at end of shift
- Perform any other assignments given
On-Site Training
- Use of proper PPE (i.e.: safety glasses, steel toe, ear plugs, gloves, etc.).
- Safety Rules and Practices
- Die inspection
- Cleaning dies
- Proper operation of hand tools and use of safety equipment
Requirements
- High school diploma, or equivalent
- Certification or Associate's Degree in a Manufacturing field is a plus!
- Ability to read and write in English fluently with proficiency
- Must have basic computer skills.
- Ability to perform various physical tasks including extensive standing, walking, bending, kneeling, squatting throughout duration of shift
- Lifting 50 to 75 pounds with assistance, continuously
- Ability to work in varying extreme temperatures (hot or cold)
