Job Summary:
Nesco Resource is seeking a reliable and skilled Hotel Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs to ensure a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment for our guests and staff.
Shift: 9:00am-5:00pm
Pay Rate: 16-20hr based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on hotel property, including guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Conduct preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repair needs.
- Maintain the upkeep of interior and exterior areas, including painting, drywall repairs, landscaping, and general cleaning.
- Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety regulations and hotel policies.
- Maintain an inventory of supplies and tools, reporting any shortages or necessary orders to management.
- Assist with setup and breakdown of hotel equipment as needed.
- Work collaboratively with hotel staff to address maintenance issues and ensure guest satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in maintenance, facilities, or a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to use hand and power tools effectively and safely.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and perform tasks that require standing, bending, or kneeling for extended periods.
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications:
- HVAC certification or experience
- Electrical or plumbing certifications
- Hotel or hospitality maintenance experience
- Bilingual proficiency is a plus.
