Nesco Resource has an immediate need for a Customer Service Specialist in the Lincolnton NC area. Responsible for overseeing the customer service department and ensuring it delivers the highest level of customer service possible.
Hours: Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm
Duties:
- Work with sales, supply chain and operations teams to ensure meeting and exceeding customers' expectations.
- Communicate and enter customer orders, manage or escalate any concerns to management and ensure that appropriate changes are made to resolve the customers' concerns.
- Communicate with all individuals whose involvement impacts customer communication.
- Monitor scheduled shipment dates to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Send order acknowledgments, issue credits and compose letters/quotes when required to customers and potential customers.
- Assist the accounting team in customer receivables.
- Assist in scheduling trucks/containers – inbound/outbound.
- Other duties as assigned by manager.
- Proficient with telephone and Microsoft Office Skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational and problem solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment, handle multiple priorities at once with a positive attitude
