Monday-Thursday 7:00am-4:30pm
Friday- 7:00am-11:00am
Requirements:
Have at least 3 years of experience in Mig welding.
* Read & interpret blueprints
*Weld, cut, grind, and finish the product
*MIG Weld, must pass a welding test
Job Description:
They will complete metal projects that meet client specifications. They use blueprints, select materials and gas ratios, and make cuts and welds. They also set up and operate welding equipment, such as arc welders, grinders, and buffing machines. MIG welders may also clamp, grind, tack-weld, or bolt components into position before welding. They inspect the final products for quality and troubleshoot any issues with the equipment. MIG welders should also follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and safe work area.
MIG welders should be detail-oriented and able to produce high quality welds with minimal errors. They should also be able to quickly identify and resolve welding issues to ensure efficient production. Other skills that may be relevant include problem-solving and teamwork.
MIG welders should have experience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures. They should also have experience with hand and power tools common to the welding trade, such as calipers, rulers, combination squares, and straightedges
