Duties & Responsibilities:
- Weigh, portion, and package fish products according to company standards and customer specifications.
- Inspect fish for freshness, quality, and adherence to safety regulations before packaging.
- Operate and maintain packaging machinery and tools safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all packages are correctly labeled with product details, weights, and expiration dates.
- Follow hygiene and safety protocols, including proper handling of raw seafood and maintaining a clean workstation.
- Assist in tracking inventory levels and reporting shortages or discrepancies.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals.
- Previous experience in food processing, seafood handling, or packaging is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work in cold and wet environments.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Good physical stamina, including the ability to lift heavy weights and stand for long periods.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and overtime when needed.
