Job Description:
The Security Administrative Assistant will provide non-exempt administrative support to the Security Administration team. This role involves processing employee security clearances and Program Access Requests (PARs) using Microsoft Office and security-specific software/database programs.
Key Responsibilities:

Interview employees to ensure the accuracy and completion of their Personnel Security Questionnaire (PSQ).

Ensure PSQs are processed in a timely manner.

Maintain clearance files, records, and databases.

Interface with external government representatives and internal customers as required.

Assist Classified Material Services (Document Control) with visits, contracts, and receipt/dispatch of data via the Security & Emergency Services (SES) database.

Serve as a backup for the Badge/ID Office, capturing images and creating employee/non-employee badges.

Utilize specialized software to create badge designs.

Learn and support the PAR process.

Work with the Defense Information System for Security (DISS).
Qualifications:
Required:
-
One year of administrative and clerical experience.

Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
-
Must be eligible for a government security clearance (subject to a government security investigation).
Work Schedule & Additional Details:
-
Onsite full-time for the first 90 days.
-
After 90 days, eligible for 1 remote workday per week.

After 180 days, eligible for 2 remote workdays per week, splitting the schedule into 2 onsite and 2 remote days per week.
