Manager, Global Procurement – Global Development
Our client, a rapidly-growing and well-regarded biotech company, is seeking an experienced Manager of Global Procurement to support global development category strategies.
Hybrid Role: 2 days/week remote/3 days/week onsite in Basking Ridge, NJ
Duration: 12-month temporary role, potential for extension or permanent hire if approved
Pay Rate: $90-99/hr.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement global category strategies to align with business needs.
- Partner with stakeholders in Clinical Development, Finance, Law, and Accounting to drive procurement initiatives.
- Manage supplier negotiations, contracts, and relationships to maximize value.
- Ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practices (GCP) and other relevant regulations.
- Leverage data, market intelligence, and procurement tools (ERP, eRFx) to enhance decision-making.
- Support supplier management activities, risk assessment, and cost optimization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Experience in procurement within Pharma/Biopharma industries.
- Strong background in sourcing, category management, and supplier negotiations.
- Familiarity with procurement systems such as Oracle or Zycus preferred.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and drive procurement strategies in a dynamic environment.
