The Heavy Equipment Monitoring Representative is responsible for tracking, analyzing, and reporting the operational status and performance of heavy machinery used in construction, mining, agriculture, and other industries. This role ensures equipment efficiency, minimizes downtime, and supports maintenance and operational teams by providing real-time data and insights.

  • Telematics Monitoring: Use telematics systems to analyze equipment data, identify trends, and predict potential failures. Monitor critical equipment parameters such as engine performance, hydraulics, transmissions, and electrical systems. Interpret diagnostic codes and alerts to proactively address issues and generate reports on equipment status and performance.
  • Troubleshooting & Failure Investigation: Gather information and machine servie history to assist service department with troubleshooting and conduct failure investigations to determine the root causes of malfunctions. Collaborate with service managers to implement repairs and ensure optimal uptime and safety.


Work Order & Service Management: Open, track, and manage work orders for repairs, maintenance, and service calls. Schedule and coordinate machine software updates, repairs and preventative maintenance, ensuring efficient resource allocation and timely completion. Maintain accurate records and close work orders upon completion. < >Preventative Maintenance (PM): Oversee the scheduling and execution of preventative maintenance based on usage and manufacturer recommendations. Ensure PM compliance, address potential issues, and maintain accurate records. Oil Sample Analysis: Review and interpret oil sample results to assess equipment condition. Take necessary actions, such as scheduling oil changes or further inspections, and maintain records of results. Invoice & Quality Control: Ensure the accuracy of customer invoices related to service, maintenance, parts, and labor. Review for completeness, address discrepancies, and ensure quality standards. Customer Support & Sales Assistance: Provide feedback to customers, addressing concerns related to equipment performance, repair needs, and preventative measures. Act as a liaison between customers and the service team to ensure satisfaction. Warranty Support: Assist with processing warranty claims by providing necessary documentation and technical details to support claims. General Maintenance Oversight: Ensure equipment maintenance schedules and records are accurate and up-to-date, continuously reviewing performance to align with maintenance plans.
