Job Summary: NESCO has partnered with a leading manufacturing company in Henrietta to hire B-Shift Assembly Technicians for a temp-to-perm opportunity. This hands-on role focuses on assembling and producing components with precision, ensuring accurate fitting and adjustment of interrelated parts.

Shift & Pay:

  • B-Shift Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 3:00 PM – 1:30 AM
    • Day Shift Training: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
  • Pay Rate: $17.00 – $20.00 per hour ( 10% shift differential)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble materials according to blueprints, diagrams, and work orders.
  • Thoroughly clean and prepare parts for assembly.
  • Operate lamination presses to assemble units and subassemblies.
  • Properly tag components, subassemblies, and completed units.
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.
  • Identify and correct defects as directed.
  • Fabricate or modify parts using shop equipment as needed.
  • Measure and verify dimensions and tolerances using instruments like micrometers, calipers, and height gauges.
  • Communicate daily task progress with the supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of mechanical assembly experience preferred.
  • Strong reading comprehension and ability to follow detailed instructions.
  • Basic computer navigation and utilization skills.
  • High attention to detail with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Physical Demands:

  • Regularly lift 20-30 pounds.
  • Perform repetitive tasks with precision.
  • Maintain manual dexterity to assemble components quickly and accurately.
  • Vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, color recognition, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
