Maintenance Manager

  • Located in Stow, OH

  • $110,000 to $125,000 based on experience

  • 1st shift Hours working an average of 50 hours/week

  • THIS IS A DIRECT HIRE ROLE!

As the Maintenance Manager you would be responsible for using all maintenance assets to ensure that all manufactured products meet or exceed expected levels of quality and rates of output as well as ensuring that the building and grounds are kept in good repair.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Manage plant maintenance personnel and lead a collaborative team with other departments.

  • Collaborate with production to monitor operation and productivity of plant equipment and systems to minimize unplanned downtime.

  • Anticipate and solve problems in a timely manner, identify opportunities for improvement to optimize uptime, cycle time, and net yield.

  • Make recommendations to improve process and plant operations and solve maintenance-related problems.

  • Assist with planning and implementing plant improvements and expansions.

  • Ensure that all maintenance floor personnel are trained in the most current version of the operating procedures.

  • Establish and maintain a CMMS for tracking maintenance activity.

  • Develop and control operational cost control program for the Maintenance department.

  • Track planned and unplanned maintenance work and costs.

  • Ensure all city, county, state, and federal regulations are met and adhered to.

  • Coordinates troubleshooting and solutions for equipment repairs.

Skills/Qualifications

  • 5 years' experience in Industrial Maintenance (prior experience with plastic, rubber, or polymers is preferred)

  • 3 years' previous Supervisory/Management experience.

  • Bachelor degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering highly preferred or relevant work experience in the field.

  • Demonstrated ability to conduct discipline in a fair and consistent manner when required.

  • Proven technical knowledge in mechanical, pneumatics, and electrical up to 480v.

  • Skilled in welding.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.

  • Be able to lift up to 55 lbs, stand or walk for extended periods of time, and be able work in confined spaces.

  • Will be subject to pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background screening.
