Seeking an Integration & Test Engineer that will provide telemetry (TM) and Flight Termination System (FTS) support for a development missile. Primary responsibility will be to provide engineering support for ongoing qualification and/or lot acceptance tests, production deliveries, supporting obsolescence upgrades for existing components/assemblies, and identify/developing 2nd source options for components/assemblies.
The role includes elements of requirements, design, analysis, integration, test, reviews, and safety coordination. This employee needs to be a self-starter and have the capability of determining one's own tasking based on input from program. The ideal candidate should have experience and willingness to collaborate with external suppliers with a focus on requirements verification, technical performance, and schedule.
Candidate should have excellent verbal, presentation, and written skills. Candidate will be responsible for communicating status and issues as well as recommendations to program. Experience in presenting at program reviews, technical reviews, and safety reviews is desired.
Travel to supplier, production, and/or test locations will be required on an as needed basis.
Basic Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering, Aerospace, any Technical Degree
Experience Integrating HW and SW
Ability to troubleshoot problems
Experience and willingness to collaborate with external suppliers and customers
Experience in presenting at program leadership reviews, technical reviews, and safety reviews
Active secret clearance preferred, willing to consider candidates with previously held active clearances. Interim clearance required prior to start, full secret to continue working contract assignment.
More Basic Qualifications:
Embedded Telemetry or Flight Termination System Design or Integration Experience
Knowledgeable in verification of system built-in performance achieved from the lowest level modules to the final assembled system
Ability to operate/coordinate comfortably with software engineers, designers, and production personnel
RF background
