Job Summary:
We are seeking a Production Team Leader to oversee daily operations in our powder coating facility. This role is responsible for ensuring production targets are met while maintaining high-quality standards, safety compliance, and team efficiency. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in powder coating or a related manufacturing environment, along with strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise a team of production workers, ensuring productivity and efficiency.

Oversee the powder coating process, including surface preparation, coating application, and curing.

Monitor production schedules, adjust workflows, and meet deadlines.

Conduct quality inspections to ensure coatings meet customer specifications.

Enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.

Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching for team development.

Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate maintenance as needed.

Maintain accurate production records and report performance metrics.

Collaborate with management to implement process improvements.
Qualifications:

Previous experience in powder coating, manufacturing, or metal finishing preferred.

3 years Leadership experience in a production environment required.

Strong understanding of powder coating techniques, equipment, and materials.

Ability to read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and technical specifications.

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

Strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.

Computer skills EDI, Net Suite, Microsoft office, WMS
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Fork Lift Experience-1 year

Exposure to powder coating chemicals, heat, and noise (protective gear provided).

Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
