Nesco Resource is hiring for our Client in the Southern Tier of New York.
Generalist Position in a State of the Art food manufacturing facility.
Hourly Rate of $18
12 hour shift working a 2-2-3 rotation, every other weekend off.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & DELIVERABLES:
- Identify the product and the process for each production line
- Verify Best Buy (expiration date), Lot Code and Labels
- Verify quality of product and packaging
- Erecting cartons, shipping cases or displays and packaging retail products into them.
- Palletizing finished goods.
- Participate in changeover activities including cleaning lines and scales, switching materials, remove extra materials
- General floor cleaning
- Able to work in fast paced environment
- Able to lift up to 25-50lbs
- Follow all plant safety and GMP rules and regulations.
- Assist where needed and other duties may be assigned
WORK SAFETY:
- Performs all tasks and functions safely and in accordance with plant safety rules. All procedures and requirements are properly followed to accomplish assigned tasks.
FOOD SAFETY / QUALITY:
- Responsible for food safety & quality. Reporting food safety and quality issues and potential issues to supervisor and/or plant leadership.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
