Cybersecurity Analyst (Hybrid - Boise, ID)
We are seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to enhance our security posture by identifying vulnerabilities, implementing best practices, and ensuring regulatory compliance. This full-time, hybrid role is based in Boise, ID.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct risk assessments and implement security measures to mitigate threats.

Assist in designing and implementing security controls for networks, data, and critical assets.

Support incident response efforts, including threat analysis, reporting, and remediation.

Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance documentation.

Collaborate with IT, security, and business teams to align cybersecurity initiatives with organizational goals.

Monitor security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR) to detect and respond to threats.

Support security awareness training and compliance with standards like NIST, HIPAA, and GDPR.
Qualifications:

4-6 years of cybersecurity experience, including threat detection, risk assessment, and incident response.

Hands-on experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, endpoint security, and vulnerability management.

Strong knowledge of encryption, cloud security, and secure network design.

Experience with regulatory compliance (NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA).

Incident response (5 years) and firewall/IDS/IPS (3 years) experience.

Proficiency in security documentation and reporting.

Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred:

Security certifications (CISSP, CISM, Security , CEH, CISA).

Experience securing AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud environments.

Project management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
