Job Title: Warehouse Associate
Location: Henrietta, NY
Job Summary: Nesco Resource is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join a fast-paced manufacturing team in Rochester, NY. This temp-to-perm opportunity is perfect for someone detail-oriented and hands-on, with experience in shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations. Shift & Pay:
- 7 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday
- Pay Rate: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, hand trucks, and pallet jacks to transport materials safely.
- Build custom wood crates using carpentry skills and power tools (saws, drills, etc.).
- Wrap and secure outgoing shipments using stretch wrap banders.
- Receive, inspect, and route incoming shipments; document damages and shortages.
- Process returned goods for replacement or credit.
- Maintain and organize inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
- Accurately pull parts from stock using pick sheets.
- Use computers to track inventory and shipping data.
- Support the receipt and shipment of goods, raw materials, and finished products.
- Keep work area clean, safe, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Pack products securely for shipment to vendors and customers.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a warehouse or shipping/receiving environment.
- Strong reading, writing, and basic math skills.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Forklift license and experience operating lift equipment.
- Basic carpentry skills and familiarity with power tools a must.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Frequently lift/move items over 30 lbs.
- Regularly stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, and climb.
- Comfortable working in environments with loud noise, airborne particles, and mechanical equipment.
- Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
