Sophisticated manufacturer in Schenectady County is looking for a Project Engineer to contribute to their facilities design, project management, and manufacturing processes. Primary Responsibilities
-Manage and enhance manufacturing processes ensuring efficiency and cost savings
-Manage capital projects, maintaining budgets, timelines, and resource management
-Assist with managing the supply chain, materials management, maintaining appropriate inventory levels
-Co-supervise maintenance operations
-Develop manufacturing drawings and specifications, managing the drawing database for accuracy.
-Track and manage the status of open projects including cost estimates, budgets, and timelines
-Help manage process improvement, waste reduction, and improved efficiencies
Position Requirements
· Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Associates Degree with relevant experience may be considered
· Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Equipment maintenance and upgrade experience
· Excellent organizational and communicative skills
