Shift: Monday-Friday 7Am-3:30PM
Pay: $19-$24/hour depending on experience
Position Summary: This hands-on role involves wiring large power supplies and assembling electrical and mechanical components using schematics and detailed layouts. Projects typically include 150 to 1,500 wiring points, with a focus on final wiring of complex control panels and cabinets. This is a highly engaging, custom, and non-repetitive role ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving and precision work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Wire control and instrument panels using schematics and mechanical layouts.
- Assemble and install electrical and mechanical components in cabinets and power supplies.
- Perform routing, crimping, fastening, soldering, and wiring of components and harnesses.
- Mount and connect parts such as PCBs, PLCs, and other electrical hardware.
- Use hand and power tools to complete wiring and assembly tasks.
- Read and interpret complex schematics, mechanical drawings, and BOMs.
- Document work and collaborate with engineers on layout decisions.
- Consistently produce high-quality work within budgeted labor hours.
- 2 years' experience in industrial panel wiring or equipment assembly.
- Strong understanding of electrical/electronic principles and schematic reading.
- Vocational or trade school preferred; UL 508A experience a plus.
- Detail-oriented, team-focused, with solid communication skills.
- English language proficiency required.
- Ability to stand, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift.
- Occasional ladder use (up to 4 ft).
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
- Forklift and crane operation (training provided).
