Nesco Reource is hiring a field service technician in the Cranberry PA area this will be a field role with 80% travel to customer sites.
What You'll Do

Troubleshoot and Repair: Diagnose, repair, and test laser and dot peen marking systems.

Customer Support: Travel (80% of the time) to provide on-site installation and customer support.

Demonstrate and Educate: Conduct product demos, assist the sales team, and help customers integrate our systems.

Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to maintain product quality and resolve customer issues.

What You'll Need to Succeed

Education: Bachelor's in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering (or related field) OR an Associate's with 6 years of experience.

Experience: 2 years of technical experience with machines; strong communication skills.

Skills: Mechanical & electrical aptitude, attention to detail, and safety orientation.

Travel: Ability to travel frequently (~80% of the time).
Preferred Qualifications

3 years in customized machine manufacturing.

Knowledge of PLCs and advanced computer software.Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
- Diagnose, repair, and test laser and dot peen marking systems.
- Educate customers on the technologies offered and how to best integrate marking systems into the manufacturing processes.
- Frequently traveling to customer sites to provide customers with onsite installation and support (travel 80% of the time).
- Conduct onsite product demonstrations, assist sales department with presentations and engineering assessments to determine the best solutions for the customer.
- Communicate with internal teams and customers via phone and email.
- Maintain demo laser equipment.
- Performance testing of product prior to shipping as needed.
- Perform other duties as needed.
