Summary: Program and operate different types of punching machines that are setup to punch designated patterns in material sheets. Reprogram some machines depending on material thickness, number of parts, orientation of parts in sheet, etc.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Read and interpret traveler to determine correct material to run on punch.
Use tape measures and calipers and other necessary measuring tools to determine correct dimensions and thickness of material.
Download programs and load tools into punches.
Read blueprint in the development view to determine if part is correct.
Perform quality checks using the FabriVision located in QC.
Record all labor efficiently and consistently.
Know and adhere to all machine safety rules.
Follow work instructions to ensure job is being done correctly.
Perform daily/weekly/monthly maintenance on the punch as designated by the Maintenance Manager.
Perform secondary processes (ex. deburr, material handling) as required.
