Nesco Resource, a national staffing company, has teamed with a national manufacturer in order to identify a Mechanical Engineer.
Mechanical Engineer I or II
Description:
The Mechanical Engineer I is responsible for assisting the engineering department and execution engineering task throughout the development and pre-production process. This includes, but not limited to: 3D design, manufacturing drawings, support new and existing mechanical designs, design verification, prototypes, parts lists design using ERP system; working closely with electrical and mechanical engineers, sales, marketing, tech support, and operations.
Required:
- 3D CAD design
- Manufacturing drawings
- Standard work instructions
- Long-term lab testing
- Computer software knowledge: Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point
- Strong communication skills, both inside and outside the company
- Pre-production documentation
- Documentation experience for: procedures, BOMs, ECN's
- Must pass drug test
Desired, but not necessary:
- Test fixture design and building
- Working knowledge of thermal chambers such as Thermatron or similar
- Desing for automation and robotics
- CNC and machine shop
- Inject mold design
- Salary compensation based on experience
