Make repairs and conduct preventative maintenance on dollies/modules used in the process of building automobiles. The responsibilities of this position include contributing to the Environmental Management System (EMS) performance, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement in the protection of the environment and reduction of pollution from the activities within the organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Follows safety guidelines and procedures.

Participates in team meetings and training.

Cleans work area according to 5s standards.

Works on plant dollies as needed

Conducts monthly PM on dollies as scheduled

Fabricates items

Assists in other areas as time permits.

Other duties as assigned.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Ability to read, write legibly and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or GED; and one to three months related experience and/or training. Welding experience needed. Basic mechanical knowledge.
