Processing Technician
Shift:1st Shift
Location: Hartville, OH
Pay: $28.85 – $30 per hour
We are hiring a Processing Technician for a 1st shift position in Hartville. This role is responsible for establishing and maintaining mold-related processes to ensure efficient and cost-effective manufacturing.
Responsibilities:
- Work with engineering on the design and performance of new molds
- Conduct mold trials, samplings, and pilot runs
- Establish and document injection molding processes
- Identify and implement Scientific Molding opportunities
- Provide feedback on tooling performance and recommend process improvements
- Determine labor requirements and suggest automation solutions
- Maintain and organize process documentation and machine specifications
- Train and support molding personnel on best practices
- Must have own tools
- Experience with mold storage, handling, and injection molding equipment
- Ability to use micrometers, calipers, and other inspection devices
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate leadership in processing operations
- Understanding of safety protocols for mold and equipment handling
- Monday – Friday | 1st Shift
- Competitive hourly wages ($28.85 – $30 per hour)
