Job Summary:
The HR Generalist III is responsible for executing day-to-day Human Resources functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, policy enforcement, and compliance. This role partners with plant leadership to foster a high-performance culture focused on continuous improvement, employee engagement, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Employee Relations & Support:

Provide daily HR support and serve as a key resource to manufacturing employees

Foster positive employee relations and maintain high engagement

Advise management on employee relations matters and disciplinary actions

Ensure clear communication of company policies and HR procedures
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding:

Recruit, screen, and hire qualified candidates in collaboration with department managers

Prepare offer letters and onboarding documentation
-
Conduct new hire orientations and oversee employee recognition programs

Manage background checks and employment eligibility verifications

Support the College Internship Program including campus recruiting and event coordination
Engagement & Performance:

Lead wellness and engagement initiatives across the plant

Coordinate and manage performance review cycles to ensure fairness and compliance

Collaborate with leadership on job descriptions and compensation updates
HR Operations & Compliance:

Support timekeeping and attendance accuracy to ensure payroll alignment

Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
-
Collaborate with HR business partners, Centers of Excellence (CoE), and cross-functional teams (Legal, IT, Finance) to deliver HR services
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
-
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or Management (preferred)

3 years of progressive HR experience (required)

Minimum 2 years in a manufacturing or industrial environment

Union experience a plus

Experience with HRIS and talent management systems preferred
