Application Business Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst / Project Manager hybrid to support ongoing and new application development efforts withing a collaborative Agile environment. The role involves a strong business analysis focus, working across both newly developed systems and enhancements to existing applications. This individual will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and development teams (both onshore and offshore), providing end-to-end project support—from concept through delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of combined experience in business analysis, systems analysis, or IT project management within a software development environment.

• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile frameworks (Scrum preferred)

• Proven ability to create and manage detailed project documentation, EPICs, features, and user stories

• Hands-on experience using Azure DevOps (preferred) or JIRA for backlog tracking and sprint management

• Working knowledge of SQL and experience supporting data-related testing or validations

• Experience working directly with application development and QA teams

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills—must be able to translate technical concepts for business users

• Demonstrated ability to manage priorities across concurrent project tracks

• Strong organizational and documentation skills with attention to detail

• Comfortable creating visual aids or prototypes to communicate product functionality (POC-style is a plus)

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with data validation, SQL queries, and analytics tools such as Power BI

• Prior experience working in fast-paced, enterprise-level software product teams

• Exposure to customer-centric development and user experience principles

• Ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities and work independently with minimal supervision
