Industrial Electrician/Mechanic
Job Summary:
We're looking for a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to keep our production equipment running safely and efficiently. This role includes setting up, repairing, and upgrading machinery, as well as performing electrical and welding work. You'll also help train operators and occasionally supervise when the Maintenance Manager is away.
Key Responsibilities:

Set up, adjust, and maintain industrial machinery.

Plan and complete equipment upgrades or rebuilds.

Fabricate and repair furnace parts and fixtures.

Design and build new equipment when needed.

Repair furnace brick and high-temperature insulation.

Maintain vacuum furnace hot zones and manifold trains.

Program and verify temperature controller settings.

Troubleshoot and repair temperature sensors and control systems.

Fix electrical issues related to motors and furnace heaters.

Install electrical components as needed.

Keep records of completed work and enter work orders into the system.

Inspect electrical systems and components to ensure safe operation and code compliance.

Identify problems and create maintenance or repair plans.

Operate shop machinery and perform welding and plasma cutting.

Support and train production team on safe machine operations.

Perform any tasks related to electrical systems and equipment repairs.
Supervisory Duties:

Act as Maintenance Supervisor in the Maintenance Manager's absence.

Provide guidance and limited supervision to Mechanic "B".
Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED required.

2-Year Technical Degree or equivalent hands-on experience.

At least 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in the metal industry or heat treating.
