Hours:
Monday - Thursday 7:00am-5:30pm with the possibility of some extra time on Fridays
Position Purpose:
Embrace the vibrant energy of spring by taking on a variety of non-technical tasks in a dynamic Bottling environment. Your role will involve a bouquet of activities such as glass uncasing, hand corking, shrink-sleeving, case erecting, hang-tagging, palletizing, re-working, label writing, cardboard bailing, and cleaning. Every day is a new opportunity to grow and bloom with us!
Core Responsibilities
- Engage in various tasks as guided by the Bottling Supervisor or other Management personnel.
- Keep your work area fresh and clean like a spring meadow.
- Adhere to Strong Spirits' good manufacturing practices (GMP's).
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements
- High school degree or equivalent education preferred.
- Ability to follow directions like bees to flowers.
- Comfortable working physically close to other team members.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills to keep the team spirit blooming.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
- Fast-paced, warehouse and industrial environment.
- Exposure to elements such as alcohol and chemicals, loud noise, and moderate heat/cold.
- Essential physical requirements include frequent climbing, standing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, and lifting, occasionally above shoulders.
- Physical effort/lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Some overtime required.
- Able to stand and walk all day with minimal breaks, like a spring breeze.
- Able to lift, carry, and pull 50 pounds or less.
- Able to kneel, squat, bend, and climb.
- Able to work around alcohol and other flammable liquids.
- Able to visually inspect products.
