Job Title: Coating Operator
Location : West Henrietta NY
Summary : Nesco Resource is currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Coating Operator for a valued client in the advanced manufacturing sector. In this temp-to-perm role, you'll be responsible for operating and maintaining evaporative coating chambers, following defined procedures to meet production goals, and performing quality inspections to ensure product standards are met. Shift: Day Shift
Pay Range: $25-$30 per hour, based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate evaporative coating chambers in accordance with work orders and standard operating procedures.
- Monitor and maintain coating processes to ensure consistent quality and performance.
- Perform quality checks on coated parts using part inspection plans and report any deviations.
- Accurately maintain job-related documentation such as coating logs, inspection results, and equipment maintenance records.
- Participate in special assignments and process improvement initiatives as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure proper upkeep of coating equipment.
- Support additional duties as assigned by the Production Manager or team leads.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Ability to read and interpret 2D blueprints and technical documentation.
- Comfortable working with computers and maintaining digital and written records.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.
- General mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn technical processes.
- Prior experience in a coating, plating, or similar production environment is a plus, but not required.
Physical and Work Environment Requirements:
- Must be able to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs occasionally.
- Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery and coating materials (protective equipment provided).
