Inventory Control – Industrial Yard (Full-Time)
About the Role:
We're hiring a full-time Inventory Control Specialist to join the production team at a metal pipe company. This is not an office job—you'll be hands-on in the pipe yard and warehouse, working closely with production and logistics teams. You'll need strong computer skills to manage inventory systems and shipping documentation, and the ability to handle physical tasks in a fast-paced, industrial environment.
Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and document incoming materials (metal pipe, supplies, equipment)
Use inventory software and spreadsheets to track raw materials and finished goods
Stage materials for pipe cutting and threading
Prepare and load outgoing shipments; create packing lists and shipping labels
Perform regular cycle counts and support physical inventory audits
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized yard and warehouse area
Communicate with carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries
Requirements:
Experience in inventory control, shipping & receiving in a warehouse or manufacturing setting
Strong computer skills (inventory systems, data entry, basic spreadsheets)
Comfortable working outdoors in the pipe yard and inside the shop
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically active work throughout the day
Forklift experience required (certification a plus or willingness to get certified)
Schedule:
Full-time | Monday–Friday 7 – 4:00
