Administrative Assistant – Plant Operations

Position Summary:
Responsible for supporting plant administrative functions, including office management, human resources, scheduling, timekeeping, and billing. Provides administrative support to plant management and staff, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general administrative tasks: document preparation, filing, mail processing.

  • Coordinate plant communications and assist with internal updates.

  • Maintain training records and plant audit schedules.

  • Support Quality department with PPAP documentation, samples, and shipping notices.

  • Assist HR with new hire paperwork and employee transaction forms.

  • Track employee time and attendance; support payroll processes.

  • Provide administrative support across departments; may oversee other administrative staff.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Physical & Work Environment:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting or standing; frequent use of hands for computer tasks.

  • Requires effective verbal communication and listening skills.

  • Primarily office-based with occasional exposure to a manufacturing environment with higher noise levels.
