Position Title: Senior Analog Layout Engineer
Location: Remote (USA)

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Analog Layout Engineer to join our team and support ongoing analog and mixed-signal layout design initiatives. This is a remote opportunity open to qualified candidates across the U.S.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design complex layouts for analog and mixed-signal circuits in deep sub-micron CMOS technologies.

  • Collaborate with circuit design teams to develop floorplans and complete layout designs.

  • Perform and resolve all aspects of physical design verification and reliability checks.

  • Conduct layout reviews and analysis with circuit designers.

  • Integrate layouts and execute final tape-out verifications.


Must-Have Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on analog/mixed-signal layout design experience.

  • Strong expertise in analog layout floorplanning, block-level, and chip-level layout execution.

  • Proficiency in EDA tools, including:

    • Virtuoso Layout Editor

    • Calibre DRC & LVS

    • Totem or Voltus

  • Proven experience running physical verification checks, such as:

    • DRC, LVS, ERC, LVSERC

    • Antenna, Density, and LUP rules


Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Scripting or programming experience in SKILL or similar languages

  • Experience with:

    • Top-down and bottom-up floorplanning

    • Full-chip integration processes

    • EMIR, DFM, ERC, and PERC verification methodologies


Educational Background

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science preferred.
